Cade's Garden: "The Dog" Company
The silliest critters ever
I have been kind of obsessed with these images of silly animal photos with the fish eye lense and I ended up finding out that there is just an entire company responsible for these photos out there and how almost all of them were just made by this one group. So I wanted to share this information with everyone to go and just google The Dog Company and find all their silly photos! Pintrest has the largest collection of them but they are also on instagram too! At the bottom of this page are just a handful of photos that I liked from them and thought were silly, I might adcalled The Dog Company! I didn't even really consider how many of these kinds of images were out d more that I like later :3
Other "The Dog" Endevours
Photos aren't the only thing The Dog Company is known for, during the height of their popularity in the early 2000's a collaboration with Mc Donald's was held, offering plushes based on dogs from The Dog Company photos in Happy Meals in 2004 and 2005 with a followup release in 2006 featuring cats instead! The Dog Company also had a few tie in videogames, the first of which being The Dog: Happy Life which was released exclusively in Japan for the PSP; However, the most well known game from The Dog Company would end up being The Dog Island released on PS2 and Wii! Nowadays most of the items sold by The Dog Company consist mostly of Calanders, wall decour, and other branded items (Though they do still sell plushes similar to the ones from the original set of happy meal plushes)
Honorable Mention: Hana Deka Club
"The Dog" and "Hana Deka Club" often get confused as being the same company, however the two are both distinclty different! Despite sharing a few similarities such as the same kind of photo technique, a tie in video game, and even plushes, The Hana Deka Club was moreso focused on noveilty and stationary items such as notebooks, lunchboxes, stickers, and mugs. They also experienced a boom in popularity though maybe not to the same degree as The Dog Company. I figured I would mention them here as they are also a very similar company and one with photos and items that I also really enjoy! (Hell as i'm typing this the mousepad I use at my desk is a Hana Deka Club cat mousepad i've had since the early 2010's)
